just to pen down a quick thought:
ever heard the term "working feverishly"? well, i think i finally know what it means...
wong and myself have been "working feverishly" the last few weeks, rushing to meet our dateline for qpete's musictoons contest. there are days when we sleep as little as 3-4 hours a day. thinking hard (it's not very often we work this crazilly!) + the lack of sleep + a large dose of passion = feverish feeling!
ever had one of those "working feverishly" periods? then you'll know just what we mean ;P

updating webpages
greetings!
just the shortest of posts - if you see blocks being moved around or information "now you see it, now you don't" , don't worry coz it's not a virus. it's just little old me updating the cedko.com website, quite extensively this time after some excellent feedback from a short survey among cedko.com users :)

not quite right...
hmm... it's only been a few days but am thinking of revamping my blog. why?
well, for one thing, it's kinda boring. secondly, a cartoonist's blog should at least have some cartoons right? it would be difficult to draw everyday, especially in this accounting period of mine. so i'll be sitting on this a while till i decide how best to present this blog in a fun and meaningful way.
sometimes i sits and thinks and sometimes i just sits :)

one crucial part and a tremendously under-estimated aspect of accounting is... filing! yup, you wouldn't have guessed it, would ya? that's what i spent the whole morning doing, to ensure my documents are ready to be retrieved in a moments notice :)
cedko:
getting my cedko's financial statements for the year ended 31 december 2005 ready for filing with my company secretary. fairly easy as there was not much activities to account for that period :( - will be diffent for 2006 though, it's shaping up to be an exciting year!

we had dinner with my parents and twin brother's family in ss2. yes, you heard right, i'm a twin and no, he's not an exciting cartoonist - he's a boring engineer :P. as always, most of the dinner was centered around my 2+ year old nephew and his antics. he's a cute little fellow i tell you! when we got back, we had some quiet time together, no...not that! we we're just talking, honest :)

finalized an accounting job for a client (my ex-employer actually, a very smart and kind gentlemen!). on the way to the bangsar lrt station (where he dropped me off), we had a short but interesting conversation on what religion is (or is not!)

come this 9 august 2006, cedko will be celebrating it's 3rd aniversary. to commemorate that, cedko will be launching three out-of-this-world promotions for its current products. today, we did some crunching of the numbers to make sure we give you all the best promotions possible. stay tuned!

had dinner at my in-laws place for dinner. yummy! after that, rushed back for the world cup match. who will win? i'm rooting for the underdog :). folded some clothes with my wifey and gave myself a title 'king of t-shirt folding'. i think i fold t-shirts rather well. must post some pictures the next time.

i was just thinking of the methodology of going about documenting the balance in my life:
cbat: the name of my book-keeping services - will represent my day job
cedko: the name of my cartooning firm - will represent my cartooning
cedric: my given name - will represent my family, wife & life
using the three above stated names will enable me to share with you my life's exciting (or not!) journey & as a personal guideline (and to help me allocate my time!) effectively:
1) no time will be stated; just my thoughts and the day's events
2) will try to post every day or two, just before i go to sleep
3) actual cbat, cedko & cedric events take priority over blogging about them, so when everything is quiet, just know, appreciate and enjoy the fact that i'm on my exciting journey and will be blogging about it soon!
oops, there goes the alarm bell... my fifteen minutes is up for today. c ya!
